What to Expect?

VESy @ Lead is a diagnostic assessment that allows to us get concrete information about the muscles in your pelvic floor. We have clients that come to us who are post-partum or menopausal who want to improve their quality of life.  Our goal at Lead Pilates is to help you restore your pelvic floor, eliminating worry or discomfort and regaining your quality of life.

To book your appointment, contact us by phone AT 306.382.7447, or complete this form [LINK TO FORM].

Once your VESy appointment is booked, you will work closely with your VESy Coach. Prior to your appointment, you will have a 15-Minute Phone Consultation with your VESy Coach.

Your appointment will take place at the Lead Pilates & Wellness studio. We ask that you come about 15 minutes early, this way we can get you processed and it will give you enough time to change into some comfortable clothing. The whole process is non-evasive and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

The VESy assessment is a three-step process:

1) First we attach sensors to your pelvic floor, there are four sensors in total (perineal, Transversus abdominis, lower extremity adductors, and gluteals). These sensors measure the activation level in a muscle. In order for these sensor to function properly they are required to be  placed directly on the skin. For this reason we will require you to remove your underwear. These sensors will tell us which muscles need more help than others. We ask that you wear comfortable looser fitting clothing. Your VESy Coach will be there walking you through every step and ensuring that you are comfortable.

2) From there, we work together to go through the 10 exercises in front of our VESy software. Lastly, once you’ve completed all 10 exercises, we will remove the sensors and can then evaluate your results. During your assessment, we will be monitoring your muscle recruitment and determining which movements will be the most efficient in helping you to rehabilitate your pelvic floor.

3) At the end of your session, you will be provided with the Top 3 exercises specific to your body that will help to restore your pelvic floor. These exercises can be done at home during your home practice and in Group Strengthening Series classes held at Lead Pilates studio.

After 30-days, you will return for a retest and see the noted improvement in your muscles!
